TOPIC:  MASTERY OF THE KEYBOARD II

Introduction

we shall again be looking further into the usage of the computer keyboard and basic shortcuts that are necessary for carrying out operations on the computer.

 

Uses of the keyboard

1.     The keyboard helps to send data or information into the system unit inform of digital code signals.

2.     The keyboard helps to pass command or sends command to the system unit.

3.     The arrow keys on the keyboard and some other keys can be used in playing computer games.

4.     The internet keyboard has special keys like the email lunch, browser lunch that supports large range of internet applications to enhance easy access to the internet.

User programs effectively use file operations through appropriate programming language syntax. The file management system manages the independent files and acts as the software interfaces between the user programs and file operations.
