TOPIC: Using the e-mail as a tool for Information Transmission

 

Introduction

Electronic mail (e-mail) is a method by which information can be sent through electronic media to one person or to many at the same time. It is the transmission of information over computer networks. It can be Local area network (LAN) or wide area network (WAN). This is like writing a letter or sending information in writing that can be received immediately it is sent.

 

Requirements for sending an email

 

1.     Internet connected computer or smart phone

2.     An email account for the sender

3.     An email address of the receiver

4.     The information to be sent

 

Sending an email

1.     Click to lunch google chrome or any available web browser

2.     In the address bar, type in www.google.com and press the enter key

3.     Click on sign in and enter your email account

4.     In the mailbox click on compose to create a new mail

5.     Type in the receiver address, the, message or information you want to send

6.     Click on send

User programs effectively use file operations through appropriate programming language syntax. The file management system manages the independent files and acts as the software interfaces between the user programs and file operations.
